He is a holder of an MSc in Development Studies and BA in History and Development. In addition to that he holds a certificate in Team Building and Community Services. And also a SAZ OHSAS 18001:2007 certificate for development of SHE management systems. He is an expert in socioeconomics, public consultation and relocation negotiations issues encountered in the EIA process. He has worked for Environment Protection Trust (EPT) as the Programs officer in Mutare (Dora Project).

At the same time he was working at Waterkings Environment Consultancy as the socioeconomist from 2009 to 2011. During this period he participated in more than 70 EIAs and related jobs that ranges from water, infrastructure, Landfills (waste management) and mining projects with big companies such as Zimasco, Zimplats, Metalone, Mimosa, TelOne, Dairibord, Triangle, Monachrome, Steelmakers and etc. He obtained vast experience on monitoring and evaluation from Environment Protection Trust’s Dora Community project in Mutare. Munyaradzi has vast knowledge in working with communities. He has worked with communities under SPW Zimbabwe (now restless development) and Chengaose Foundation Trust. Currently, he heads EIA stakeholder consultation teams for various projects. Munyaradzi facilitate various modules in the social science field at the Zimbabwe Institute of Management (ZIM).

TEAM MEMBERS

Development Practitioner: – Mr. Kainos. Musvinu Over 10 years experience in the development sector in Zimbabwe focusing on: Designing, managing and implementing community development programmes focusing on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights including HIV and AIDS, Education, Livelihoods, Civic Participation, Democracy and Governance, Agricultural and Rural Development, Emergency and Relief programmes. He is quite experienced in proposal development and donor management, budget formulation, implementation, monitoring and review. He has experience working with some of the following key donors: World Bank, EC, Pact, SIDA, UNICEF, WFP, DfID, CDC. He has vast readership in Water and Sanitation projects and has directed various projects around the country.

Public Affairs and Policy – Dr. Musafare T. Mupanduki – (PhD) He holds the following: Ph.D. Public Affairs & Policy, University of Texas at Dallas, Master of Public Affairs &Policy-University of Texas at Dallas, (USA), Master of Arts, African Studies (Government and Politics in Africa & Social Change in Africa) – University of Ghana, (Ghana) and Bachelor of Arts, (History, Sociology & Education)-University of Cape Coast, (Ghana). He is quite skilled and experienced in writing in-depth research course/thesis papers in human resources management, public affairs, and public policy. The research paper topics include: economics for public policy, economic sociology, Ethics, Culture, & Public Responsibility, Gender & Policy, Non-profit Organizations, Organizational Theory, Domestic Social Policy, Political Institutions, Public Policy & Institutions, International Negotiations, Law & the Policy Process, Social Research Methods & Design, Public Management, Human Resources Management, Public Finance & Budget Systems, Survey of Public Affairs, and Leadership of Public and Non Profit Organizations. He has presented vast papers on policy and sustainable development.

Public Health Expert – Mrs Vinece Dube – (MSc PH) Over 15 years experience in the health development sector in Zimbabwe focusing on: HIV and AIDS Mainstreaming/Integration into existing programmes, Health Programmes Management and Coordination, Conducting Research for public health events, HIV and AIDS programming for Public and Private Organisations, Developing customized Health programmes, Managing training for health educational programmes, Professional Training for Health Care Providers, Advisory board member for HIV and AIDS Community Based Organizations and NGOs, Counselling Studies for Peer Educators and Module Writing for universities and Training colleges. She assisted in setting up degree programme for the Zimbabwe Institute of Public Administration and Management (ZIPAM) & Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) focusing on HIV and AIDS and community development. She coordinated basic to advanced life support training programmes for MARS Zimbabwe.

Sales and Marketing Executive (Finance/Administration) – Mr. Rishon Katsidzira Rishon is a holder of BSc Honours Degree in Development Studies (UNISA), Diplomas: (Project Planning &Management (CCOSA), and Marketing (LCCI). Certificates: (Practical Monitoring and Evaluation, HIV/AIDS care and Management (UNISA). Professional Experience: Presently handling Performance Evaluation Consultancy portfolio for Platinum Groupe (Zimbabwe), 2002-2010 Grant Making & Development Consultancy portfolio Oak Foundation (Switzerland, Zimbabwe), 1997-2001 Inspectorate Coordinator with PG Industries Group (Zimbabwe), 1993-1996 Apprenticeship Motor Vehicle Industry. Boards/Memberships: Chairman (Grassroots Support Foundation), Treasurer (Church Board). Mr. Katsidzira provides technical support to the Project Management division in its various projects.

Finance and Administration: Mrs. Tapiwa Linda Nyajeka Tapiwa holds the following qualifications; BComm (Hon) Marketing, Business Lending Fundamentals, Credit Skills Assessment Programme and Commercial Lending to Small Business. She is a strategic marketing thinker who has been in service industry for at least five years ranging from; environmental consultancy, banking and hotel industries. Her responsibility covers business strategy formulation, financial discipline as well as providing operational policy framework to the GRC team. She has earned a sturdy career history in banking that covers client services, asset creation and their management as well as liability mobilization. Currently, she occupies a key and strategic managerial position in Standard Chartered Bank as a Business Relationship Manager. In addition, she is a key member of the SME bank tasked with the responsibility to develop, maintain and manage the client portfolio of the bank. Before joining the Standard Chartered Bank Zimbabwe Limited, Tapiwa cultivated her marketing, business development and client services management skills in her attachment with a leading hotel group, African Sun Leisure team.

Agricultural Expert – Mr Gabriel Kufa (Dip) He holds dual Diplomas in Agriculture, and Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development respectively. Currently he is pursuing a BSc Agriculture Degree, (Open University, Zimbabwe). Professional Experience: Presently he is handling Sustainable Agriculture Consulting portfolios for Bindura Constituency, Goromonzi and Shamva Small Holder farming groups (Zimbabwe), 2005-2010 Agriculture and Nutrition Office for Zimbabwe Women’s Bureau (Zimbabwe), 1995-2005 Projects Coordination Consultancy portfolio for Zimbabwe Farmers Union (ZFU). Various Consultancy work with AGRITEX (Mashonaland West Province), including Commercial Farm Management 20 years experience, Boards/Memberships: Secretary (Grassroots Support Foundation), Corporate Secretary (GRC Pvt Ltd). He participates in EIAs by compilation of soils and water quality reports that qualify EMA standards.

Environmental Technical Advisor – Mr Oliver Mutasa (MSc, Post Grad Certs & Diploma) Oliver works as the Environmental Advisor for the Project Management Division – He is a holder of a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Applied Environmental Science (UZ), Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, Diploma in Applied GIS and Remote Sensing, SAZ OHSAS 18001: 2007 and SAZ ISO 14001:2004. His honours dissertation was titled Evaluation of Self-purification Capacity of Sakubva River. He has worked with Environment Protection Trust (EPT) in execution of the Sakubva River Bio-Remediation project in Mutare. He then worked with Waterkings from 2010- 2011 as the Soils, Water Quality and GIS Expert. During this stint he participated in more than 40 Environmental Impact Assessments that ranges from water, infrastructure, waste management, and mining projects with big companies such as World Bank, Government of Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Water Resources, ZISCO, Zimplats, Metalone Gold, Mimosa, TelOne, Dairibord, Triangle, Monachrome, Steelmakers and etc. Mutasa has facilitated OSHMAC course at NSSA for the year 2011 as a trainer on Hazard Risk Identification. He is certified to implement and carry out internal audits for S.H.E System. Currently, Oliver is serving as a part time lecturer at Zimbabwe Institute of Management on various certificate and diploma courses on Environmental Law and Policies and other modules. He also does course moderation for various courses with the same institute. To sum it all, he has vast readership in issues of waste management and pollution abatements.
